We have an excellent team of dedicated and knowledgable staff. All staff are trained and managed to ensure our horses are taken care of to an optimum standard. No stone is unturned and the happy horses in our yard pay testament to this. Staff live on site and carry out evening checks and are on the yard bright and early.
Jessica Fleming has a passion for breeding and hunting. She grew up on a family farm and spent her early years pottering around her grandmothers yard; always brimming with National Hunt horses, pointers, broodmares and youngstock. “I never really got on with the other children at school, I’d have much rather been at home amongst the horses; they were my friends". As a young girl Jessica spent every opportunity hunting, often getting up before school to go cubbing, uniform on under hunting clothes, persuading her parents that the only way of shifting a cold was to miss school, go hunting and “blow the cobwebs away". Jessica enjoys team chasing and competing in hunt races.
Pete Sidgwick is very involved both with the farm and the stud. We have 10 cows and 150 ewes. Pete also does all the tractor work for the stud, making haylage, bringing in hay and straw, emptying muck trailer etc… he also drives the horse lorry for us.
